SEO & GEO Podcast Recommendations 2026
(The Actually-Still-Publishing Edition)
Right, confession time. Our old podcast list was gathering dust. A fair few of the shows on it had gone quiet, and recommending a podcast that hasn't dropped an episode since Google's last-but-three core update is a bit awkward, isn't it? So we've had a proper spring clean and pulled together the shows that are genuinely still turning up in our feeds every week (or at least monthly). Stick one of these on during your commute or your dog walk, and get stuck in.
Crawling Mondays with Aleyda Solis
If you only add one show back into your rotation, make it this one. Aleyda Solis (International SEO Consultant, founder of Orainti, and generally one of the busiest people in our industry) runs Crawling Mondays as both a YouTube series and podcast, mixing SEO how-tos, tutorials and interviews with genuine heavyweights. She's had Google's own Search Liaison Danny Sullivan on to talk through the state of search. Increasingly the conversation has shifted toward AI search and GEO alongside the classic technical SEO stuff, which makes it a solid one-stop-shop for staying current (we may be a little biased, having had a good chat with Aleyda on the show ourselves).

The Search Session
Hosted by international SEO consultant Gianluca Fiorelli, this one's built entirely around one-to-one conversations with people actually shaping the industry, Aleyda Solis, Mike King, Rand Fishkin, Lily Ray and Cindy Krum have all sat down with him, alongside a steady stream of technical SEO, AI search and international specialists. It's less "news round-up" and more "proper sit-down chat", and the guest list rarely disappoints (a good chinwag with Gianluca is how we ended up talking about SEO, AR and TikTok on it a while back).

Search With Sean
Sean Barber, SEO Manager at Macmillan Cancer Support by day, runs a genuinely likeable channel covering SEO, AI and digital marketing news, with a rotating cast of formats: Chat With Sean (interviews), Search With Sean Live (streamed panels) and a regular news round-up. It's friendly, unpretentious, and Sean's clearly having fun with it, which comes through in the episodes (we can vouch for that, having sat down with him ourselves).

The GEO Blueprint: AI Search
Fully dedicated to Generative Engine Optimisation, hosted by George Vlasyev, this one goes deep on AI visibility, entity authority and how to actually get cited by tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. It's a weekly interview format with specialists working the GEO coalface, covering why ranking #1 on Google doesn't count for much when the click-through is 0%, right through to the future of AI search generalists.
An incredibly good podcast and one I listen to every episode

Search News You Can Use with Marie Haynes
The reliable one. Marie Haynes has been breaking down Google algorithm updates for what feels like forever, and she's brought that same clear, no-nonsense approach to the AI search era, covering everything from Gemini developments to how she's using AI tools like NotebookLM in her own workflow. If you want someone to translate a leak or an update without the hype, this is your show.

Beers and SEO with Barry and Steve
Exactly what it says on the tin. Barry Adams and Steven Wilson-Beales, two publishing SEO veterans, sit down with a beer and chew over the state of digital publishing: AI's impact on traffic, paywall strategy, Google Discover, and why original journalism matters more than ever. It's informal, a bit cheeky, and a nice change of pace from the more polished shows on this list. Great one for anyone working with news or publisher clients.

Growthack | Beyond SEO®
Hosted by the team at Growthack.io, Beyond SEO looks at what actually drives commercial growth beyond rankings and traffic, pulling in marketers, founders and digital leaders to unpack the systems and mindset behind sustainable growth. Recent episodes have tackled what SEO, AEO and GEO actually mean in practice, which is a conversation worth having on repeat at the moment.

Search with Candour
A Monday-morning staple. Jack Chambers-Ward hosts in-depth conversations with SEO experts covering a proper spread of topics, from GA4 attribution to AI search metrics to the more human side of the industry, like networking as an introvert or avoiding burnout. Consistent, well produced, and a good one to bookmark if you want a weekly habit rather than an occasional binge.

That's the refreshed list. As ever, if a show on here goes dark in six months, blame the algorithm, not us, and we'll be back to update it again. If there's a podcast you think deserves a spot, give us a shout, we're always listening (pun intended).
And a couple more if you're still hungry
Two extras worth bolting onto your feed, if seven shows weren't enough:
Search Off the Record is Google's own podcast, hosted by the Search Relations team (John Mueller, Martin Splitt, Gary Illyes and colleagues). It's the closest you'll get to hearing the thinking behind Search Console features, crawling behaviour and documentation decisions straight from the people who build them, delivered in a relaxed, slightly nerdy chat format rather than a press release.
Experts on the Wire with Dan Shure had gone quiet for a while, but it rebooted in March 2026 and is back with fresh interviews covering SEO strategy, AI search and content, with the same roster of genuinely experienced guests it's known for. Worth a re-subscribe if you dropped off it a couple of years back.
